As well as our Desk Boot Sale! we are also silent auctioning a Mimosa Dolls House (worth £200+) to raise funds for our team volunteer day.

Desk Boot Sale!

Yum!

To raise funds for our team volunteer day we are holding a desk boot sale today (15/10/09) on the 3rd Floor of the BFB. Items for sale include bottles of wine, CDs, cosmetics, books and some amazing cakes baked by Southbank’s finest bakers!

All funds raised will go towards buying equipment that’ll help us create the vegetable garden. After the event we intend to donate the equipment to the school to assist in the ongoing development of the garden.

So, come and check out the items and do your bit for charity!

Team Volunteer Day

What? The Southbank Digital team have volunteered to spend a day creating a vegetable garden for a local school.

When? Wednesday, 21st October 2009.

Where? Boutcher C.E. Primary School, Bermondsey, SE1 3BW (map).

More info… This project, which will assist a Let’s Get Cooking! club, aims to get children involved and enthused about growing and cooking their own produce.

From our point-of-view we are taking advantage of IPC’s “volunteer release time” and, as well as supporting the local community, hope to further enhance our team spirit and camaraderie.
